The Forsythe Memo: Espionage.
Original broadcast date: 6 February 1966

Inspector Lewis Erskine masquerades as a traitor to break up a Red Chinese spy operation. The episode begins in Hong Kong, and then moves to the States; the Hong Kong locale is less than convincing. However, a very strong cast and production crew (headed by director Richard Donner and writer Anthony Spinner) make this episode a good one.
- The FBI agents are driving the Ranchero! 1966 Ford LTD Stretch limo (black) in the beginning. Undercover cars for the big chase scene: 1957 Ford Ranchero (yellow/white) as unit 7 and a 1957 Ford Panel wagon (white) as unit 12.
- Director Richard Donner would go on to direct Superman (1978), Superman II (1980) and the Lethal Weapon movies.
- Anthony Spinner would go on to become producer for Season 9 (1973-1974).
- First acting role for Lloyd Haines (1934-1986), who went on to star in the 1969-1974 ABC series Room 222.
