Hiding after an attempt on his life, Holman fears for his children, who are in Europe. Consequently, he refuses to help the FBI break an all-important code. Inspector Erskine must try to make both Holman and his wife disappear from sight, so as to save the couple and the future of civilization. Remember, J. Edgar Hoover was bureau head, and this episode reflected the interest in spies during this time.
- The 1966 Ford LTD stretch limousine is run down by a Bell 47 Helicopter. This particular helicopter was used in several FBI episodes, as well as other TV series.
- This episode is the first of four two-part episodes of The FBI TV series.
