King Hogan, Frank Donald Collins, Otto Hans Breese, Edward Ralph Richards: Bank Robbery, Murder.
Original broadcast date: 24 April 1966
The F.B.I. leads a search for bank robbers who did not take enough money. There is concern that they may strike at a much richer target, and they need to be stopped.
- A trifecta: The 1957 Ranchero, a 1957 or 1958 Panel Wagon (white) and the 1963 Galaxie Ambo. The Ranchero and the Panel Wagon are in the parking garage at the beginning, the ambo is in Act I. The Ranchero is clearly seen in the big bank heist/shoot out at the end. I believe that the panel wagon is a ’58 and was crashed in the episode “Vendetta.”
- Halfway through the episode, the Albert Salmi character makes reference about getting an apple orchard in Washington state. Ironically, Mr. Salmi and his wife died on 22 April 1990 in Spokane, Washington. It was a murder/suicide. Ironically, this was almost 24 years to the day that this episode first aired. And, yes, Mr. Salmi did an episode of The Twilight Zone!
