Case is about a painting stolen from a museum in Washington, D.C. and offered for sale in Los Angeles. An ex-U.S. government official is seriously injured trying to stop the theft. The thief intends to sell it to a collector that he has done business with before. Robert Dewey, though, gets more than he bargained for when he meets a woman who falls for him.
Inspector Erskine and Special Agent Rhodes don’t have much to work with. Meanwhile, the thief concludes he’ll need to kill the woman to ensure her silence. Good motorcycle riding stunts.
