Original air date: 26 November 1967
This episode rerun 4 August 1968
Inspector Lewis Erskine and S.A.C. Tom Colby receive a tip concerning Top Ten fugitive William Judson. Just as they (and other agents) are about to arrest him, Judson is shot by friend and partner Richard Macklin. Both men were long-time members of the Miami crime syndicate. Judson had indicated a wish to break from “La Costa Nostra.”
Unfortunately, Macklin took on a hostage (Lynda Day George), a nurse on her way to work. It is up to the Feds to do what they usually do and to get their man.
- As in all her pre-1970 appearances, Lynda Day George is billed as Lynda Day. In 1970, she married fellow actor Christopher George, star of The Immortal and The Rat Patrol, among others. They had one daughter and stayed together till his death in 1983. After that, Lynda´s acting appearances became few and far between. This also makes her a relative of Vanna White by marriage
- Henry Silva makes the first of his appearances on the series.
