The husband, an Army sergeant, had just returned from service in Vietnam. He found his wife had died under mysterious circumstances the night before his return. She accidentally falls to her death after receiving an extortionist’s call.
This episode may be the earliest show that deals with Vietnam veterans who are unhinged.
- John Kerr returns as SAC Gary Morgan. Mr. Kerr made headlines in 1956 when he turned down the lead role of Charles Lindbergh in the movie The Spirit of St. Louis, because he detested Mr. Lindbergh’s Nazi sympathies prior to World War II. Mr. Kerr made a total of seven appearances on the series.
- German-born John Ericson, whose original name was Joseph Miebes, had the supporting role in the 1965-1966 ABC series Honey West (as Sam Bolt). As of August 2019, he is 92 and still alive.
