The FBI goes after bank robbers in New York City who use a tunnel to penetrate the vault. Three escapees tunnel out of a prison out West, kill a guard, then split up. Gerald Spain ends up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where he is turned in by fellow escapee Bill Hollis. Hollis and Eugene Waring end up in the Big Apple, where they plan on tunneling into a bank. An offbeat episode that features an excellent interplay between actors Efrem Zimbalist Jr. (Erskine) and Paul Mantee (Spain).

- Joanna Cook Moore was married to Ryan O’Neal from 1963 to 1967, and was the mother of Griffin and Tatun O’Neal. Born in 1934, she died in 1997.
