Inspector Erskine spoils the romance of a prominent widowed diplomat and a beautiful Parisian ballet dancer by exposing her as a Communist spy. The episode opens in Paris, but is largely set in Hawaii, and provides an interesting yarn.
- Guest star Claudine Longet was a French actress and singer who was married to singer Andy Williams. By this time, she was pregnant with her son Robert. She and Mr. Williams would separate in 1969. Sadly, she made headlines in 1976 when she was arrested for the shooting death of her lover, Croatian-American skier Vladimir “Spider” Sabich.
- Michael Rennie makes his very last guest appearance on a television show here. By this time, his health was failing, and it showed. He died two years later.
- Harrison Ford makes the first of two appearances on the series, and Russell Johnson (Gilligan’s Island) is present as well.
