Vincent Tobias, John Beeker: Crime on a Government Reservation—Murder.
Original air date: 30 March 1969
Rerun 17 August 1969
A banker runs a loan-sharking ring from his bank. He specializes in ripping off ex-servicemen who have been rejected for a normal loan at his bank. The crime on a government reservation was the murder of a serviceman who could not pay the outrageous interest on a “loan.”
- Tom Colby goes undercover as a ex-GI, Ed Loomis, needing a loan. Good episode. William Reynolds had experience with being a military man, having starred in the 1962-63 ABC series The Gallant Men. This was a World War II series set in Italy. He also did other military roles in movies in the 1950s. In real life, Mr. Reynolds was conscripted into the Army in 1952, and served in Japan.
