Harry L. Springer: Extortion
Original air date: 19 October 1969
A salesman saves his brother from serving prison time for a murder he did not commit by finessing the real killer into revealing himself.
- In his fourth series appearance, Peter Hobbs resumes his role as Special Agent Anthony Harper, a part he played in the previous season.
- Good motorcycle stunt in the prologue. The motorcycle rider lays down a Triumph cycle to avoid a just-convicted man. The convict broke away from the sheriff as he was being escorted from the courthouse. The convict ran into the street, the cyclist layed down the bike and the convict jumped over it and the rider as the bike skidded down the street. A neat scene to watch in slow motion on the VCR.
- Mormon actress Laraine Day (1920-2007) was married to noted sports figure Leo Durocher from 1947 to 1960. Her character lives in the same mansion used as Wayne Manor in Batman (1966-1968). That mansion is located in Pasadena, California.
