- 007 Connection: Joe Don Baker would make two appearances in James Bond films: The Living Daylights (1987) and GoldenEye (1995).
- Director Michael O’Herlihy (1929-97) was the younger brother of actor Dan O’Herlihy (1919-2005).
- Bill Hickman was a noted stunt driver, and was the genius behind the celebrated car chases in Bullitt (1968), The French Connection (1971) and The Seven-Ups (1973). This is his second appearance this season and third (and final) on the series.
