John McElroy, Yvonne Demarest: Crime on a Government Reservation.
Original air date: 13 December 1970
Inspector Erskine has to inspect a crime that a young man has committed on a reservation. Problem is, this leads to him trying to save the young man’s life from the underworld.
FBI Carousel Bulletin: Not exactly a rotation notice-Hank Brandt reappears as S.A.C. William “Bill” Converse. As the show went on, the character shuffling between actors gradually diminished, but never stopped entirely.
- Don Grady (1944-2012), who plays John McElroy, starred on both The Mickey Mouse Club (1957-58) and My Three Sons (1960-71). He was finishing up his role on the latter series when he filmed this episode.
- Once again, we have an appearance from Murray Hamilton!
- John Vivyan was the star of Mr. Lucky (1959-1960).
- Speaking of My Three Sons, Don Grady’s partner in crime in this episode is named Yvonne Demarest. Demarest is also the surname of the actor who played Uncle Charlie on MTS, William Demarest!
- Lots of tanks, as well as a Thunderbird four-door sedan. Rows of tanks probably used up by the Army and given to the Marines. All on a Navy storage depot. The tanks are M41 Walkers.
