To crack a loan sharking operation, Inspector Lewis Erskine sets out to find the man who stole the organization’s book of borrowers’ name. A mob errand boy steals a bag from his boss, thinking it contains money; it contains an incriminating ledger instead, which the FBI was just about to seize. Now, both the mob and the FBI are racing to reach the errand boy.
- Once again, another appearance by Peter Mark Richman.
- Arlene Golonka had a role on Mayberry RFD from 1968 to 1971. Needless to say, this is a change of pace for her, as it was for fellow Mayberry co-star Jack Dodson, when he had a supporting role in The Getaway, which would debut at the end of 1972.
