Suspecting assassinations in the Mafia are being planned, Inspector Erskine goes undercover as a caterer at the wedding of a mob boss’s daughter. He hopes to find out what’s behind a ruthless lieutenant’s plans to kill the boss and take over the organization.
- Frank DeKova (1910-1981) makes the first of two appearances on The FBI, as a mob boss. His second would be in the final season. The veteran actor is likely best known for his role on F Troop, which ran between 1965 and 1967 on ABC.
- Alex Cord (born Alex Viespi in 1931) had debuted in 1962’s The Chapman Report. That movie starred Efrem Zimbalist Jr. Mr. Cord went on to make the Gene Rodenberry-penned Genesis II later in 1973.
