The final season opens with a new assistant for Inspector Lewis Erskine, SAC Chris Daniels, played by Shelly Novack. Inspector Lewis Erskine and Agent Daniels start weeding out suspects in the robbery of an armored car firm. Their only clues: One man sniffled, one man had B-type blood and the trio escaped in a blue pickup truck.
- By this time, Richard Anderson was involved in The Six Million Dollar Man, starring Lee Majors. Mr. Anderson played Oscar Goldman in the series. That show would first air on 18 Januaury 1974, during The FBI’s final season. A very familiar face, Mr. Anderson makes his seventh and final appearance on the series.
- Star Trek alert: Marj Dusay, who was by this time married to Trek creator Gene Roddenberry.
