Original air date: 27 January 1974
Rerun 25 August 1974
An embittered ex-Army major breaks two dangerous men out of the stockade to train them for a mission: Robbing an Army payroll convoy. Knowing who he is, Inspector Lewis Erskine tries to identify and prevent his objective.
- By this time, it seems broadcasting The FBI was a low priority. This may explain the three-week gap between the previous episode and this one.
- Good cast. One notable guest star is Judy Lewis (1935-2011), who was really the love child of performers Clark Gable (1901-1960) and Loretta Young (1913-1999).
- Director Lawrence Dobkin steps in front of the camera for this one!
- And we also have Richard Jaeckel and Stacy Keach Sr.
