Ernie Cahn leads a holdup of an armored car near Detroit. He and his confederates had first stolen explosives from a National Guard armory which they then used in the heist.
But Cahn is brash and arrogant, traits that will prove his undoing. And his employers have concluded he’s a liability and plan to have to him killed. The FBI needs to reach him in time.
- Leading this roster of performers is Harvey Keitel, who would go on to star in such notable films as Taxi Driver (1976), Reservoir Dogs (1992) and The Last Temptation of Christ (1988). He remains a very busy actor in 2019.
- This is Don Gordon’s final appearance on the series. He had just starred in 1973’s Papillon with his friend, Steve McQueen, and would do so again in 1974 in The Towering Inferno.
- Claudia Jennings was Playboy’s Playmate of the Year in 1969. Born in 1947, she died in a car accident in 1979.
- Gerald McRaney has an early role in this episode.
